The Citizens' Budget and Finance Advisory Committee (CBFAC) should be an advisory committee which focuses its work on strategic school district issues with budgetary impact as directed by the Board.  The CBFAC shall work in an advisory capacity and shall report directly to the Board of Education for the Board's action on its recommendation.  The CBFAC shall be informed about the proposed next year budgets and have the opportunity to discuss with the Board and Administration.
